How the assistant works

1. 1Code finds the passages first.A keyword index ranks passages from this site before any model call. The same question always gets the same passages.
2. 2The model writes from those passages only.It works under a fixed budget and says so when the site does not cover a question.
3. 3Every answer lists its sources.Open them to check the answer against Mac's own words.
4. 4Limits live in code.Questions have a length cap, each visitor has a request limit, the site has a daily cap, and automated traffic is screened out.

Conversations are not stored. Answers can be wrong, so check the sources. Read the privacy note.
